1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how ArtMecca, developed by Darion Britt, handles information when you use the ArtMecca application on an Apple device.
Core principle: ArtMecca does not collect or transmit your artwork, photos, projects, text, brush profiles, usage activity, or personal information to the developer.
2. Information handling
Information ArtMecca does not collect
ArtMecca does not operate a user database or developer-controlled server and does not collect:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, or account credentials
- Precise or approximate location
- Contacts, messages, browsing history, or search history
- Device identifiers for advertising or tracking
- Payment, purchase, health, fitness, or financial information
- Analytics, advertising measurements, or behavioral profiles
- Your canvases, imported media, text layers, project files, or exports
Content you choose to use
ArtMecca can process images, camera captures, documents, text, artwork, brush settings, color palettes, LUT files, and project files that you deliberately select or create. This content is used only to provide the creative action you requested and remains under your control on the device.
An imported image or file may contain embedded metadata from its original source. ArtMecca does not use that metadata for tracking or transmit it to the developer.
3. Apple permissions
Photos
When you choose to import an image, Apple’s photo picker lets you select the item made available to ArtMecca. ArtMecca uses the selected content only as an artwork layer or import source.
Camera
Camera access is requested only when you select the camera import option. The resulting image is used as content in your project. ArtMecca does not activate the camera in the background.
You can deny or later revoke these permissions in the Apple Settings app. Drawing, locally created text, and other functions that do not require the revoked source can continue to work.
4. On-device processing
ArtMecca performs its creative operations locally using Apple system frameworks. This includes drawing and erasing, layers, transforms, text styling, photo effects, 3D LUT processing, retouching, palette extraction, project diagnostics, and Creative Director suggestions.
ArtMecca does not upload content for remote artificial-intelligence processing. The Creative Director evaluates local project structure and visible artwork on the device.
5. Storage, retention, and deletion
Projects, settings, saved brush profiles, palettes, and other application state are stored locally in ArtMecca’s application storage. ArtMecca does not retain a server-side copy.
Recovery Vault
Recovery Vault is optional and disabled by default. If you enable it, ArtMecca may keep one local emergency checkpoint for an unsaved project. A successful explicit save clears the obsolete checkpoint, and recovery data remains on the device.
Removing data
- Delete projects or recovery checkpoints using ArtMecca’s available controls.
- Delete exported files from the destination where you saved them.
- Deleting ArtMecca removes its locally stored application data according to Apple’s operating-system behavior.
Depending on your Apple device and backup settings, Apple may include application data in a device backup. ArtMecca does not operate or control Apple’s backup service.
7. Third parties and Apple services
ArtMecca does not include third-party advertising, analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting SDKs. It relies on Apple frameworks supplied with iOS and iPadOS.
Apple may independently process App Store, device, backup, or diagnostic information according to your Apple settings and Apple’s own privacy terms. That processing is not performed by ArtMecca or a developer-operated ArtMecca service.
8. Children’s privacy
ArtMecca does not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults. The application does not provide accounts, public profiles, social messaging, or behavioral advertising.
9. Security
ArtMecca limits privacy risk by keeping creative content on the device and avoiding developer-operated data collection. Access to local data is also subject to the security of your Apple device, passcode, Apple Account, backups, and any destination you select for export.
No storage method can guarantee absolute security. Keep your device software current and protect access to your device and exported files.
10. Your privacy choices and rights
You control what you create, import, save, recover, and export. You can revoke Photos or Camera access in Apple Settings, remove local projects and checkpoints, or delete the application.
Because ArtMecca does not maintain accounts or a server-side user database, the developer ordinarily has no personal record to access, correct, sell, or delete. If you have a privacy question or believe you sent information directly to support, contact us using the address below.
11. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when ArtMecca’s features or legal obligations change. The revised page will show a new “Last updated” date. If a future version introduces materially different data handling, the policy and applicable in-app or system disclosures will be updated before that feature is released.
